Rob Bywater from Brackley wins Meat Management Industry Award

Brackley, UK – Faccenda Foods, one of the UK’s leading food companies, congratulates Rob Bywater on winning the prestigious Young Manager of the Year award at a ceremony in London. The award was open to individuals in the meat industry who are 32 years old and under. It recognises Rob Bywater’s work ethic and success as an upcoming and dynamic individual. Commenting on the award Faccenda Foods Managing Director Andy Dawkins said:
“We spotted Rob’s potential early in his career. However, it is thanks to his own hard work and commitment that he is Young Manager Of The Year. Rob is an excellent manager and we are delighted that we have been able to provide continuous development opportunities to him throughout his career. Like many up-and-coming managers at Faccenda, Rob sees the company as an employer of choice in the fresh foods sector and we are lucky and proud to have him.”
Rob Bywater is currently Operations Manager at Faccenda Foods in Brackley, Northamptonshire, where he lives. Rob’s career at Faccenda Foods epitomises the development opportunities available to all staff. Rob joined the company from Magdalen College School, Brackley, as an Agricultural Assistant when he was 15, became an Engineering Technician and gained a degree in Business and Information Technology before becoming first Production Manager and then Operations Manager for the Faccenda Foods factory in Brackley. The facility has been an established operation for 42 years and now employs over 900 people. Rob Bywater, Operations Manager at Faccenda Foods said:
“It was an honour to be nominated for this award and to win was both a surprise and a privilege. This award recognises me as an individual and that is incredibly humbling, however it is more a testament to the Faccenda Foods culture and environment where, surrounded by a dedicated and accomplished team I have been able to develop, progress and be successful, and for that I am extremely grateful.”
Applauding Rob Bywater’s achievement, Faccenda Foods HR Director Andrew Brodie said:
